STA SAFE Firearms Safety Training is one of the best ways for you to learn the basics of pistol shooting from an NRA Certified and Insured Instructor. The NRA is the top firearms training organization in the world! This training is the first step for you to obtain the proper certification for your concealed carry permit in the state of Florida. Beware of the $50 CWP courses out there. Many of them do not actually meet the requirements of the state of Florida, and most of them provide little to no actual instruction and training.
Our easy-to-understand as well as hands on training program allows you to become comfortable and confident as you learn to handle, load, shoot, unload, and properly maintain your firearm.

I look forward to seeing you at the range. Please wear a comfortable clothing and proper closed toed shoes or boots. That means no sandals, flip flops, crocs, etc. Please bring water to drink, your firearm, 100 rounds of ammo, eye and ear protection. Additional things you should consider bringing sun screen, and a hat.

I've been around firearms my entire life and this class taught me a lot about pistol shooting and handling. The instructor provided a lot of insight and real world examples of the importance of safe handling and continuing training. Many people can be great marksmen with unlimited time, but this class will teach you to consider and put in place the proper way to shoot and handle your pistol in a self defense situation. Highly recommended and I cant wait to continue my training with the next course.
